The 3 very big differences of what I offer to you compared to other teachers online:
First, I watch you with attention to your every move in each session. In most other online privates and classes you are not being watched, only you are watching the instructor, while they have their work out.
Second, I always have your safety and precision of movement in mind. My constant cueing reflects this attention to your every detail, along with my focus on your breathing. This ensures that you will never create tension or injury whilst working with me. Also you will develop good habits right away, that transfer to more quickly evolving with the form, and never creating tension in your workouts. Tension is quite the opposite of what you should ever feel with Pilates.
Third, I show you a gorgeous view! Often a seascape with the soft sound of waves!
To prepare for our online sessions, find a spot on the floor with a mat where you can move your arms out to the sides without obstructions. Set up your phone or computer so that I can see your entire body, from head to toe. I watch you, as you execute the cues I give to you. You will have your focus inward with eyes closed.
Also it’s good to have a yoga strap or long belt or a magic circle, and small roller that fits into the crook of your neck. You can find magic circles and rollers online and often TJ Max and Target have them. Only a belt would be necessary for the first few sessions. Daylight and weather permitting I give you a gorgeous nature view! Even though you won’t be looking much, but the sound of the sea is wonderful!
